All Team Programs Include:

Our team building activities simply deliver more from every training and development dollar you invest. We begin the process by learning about your organization, your people and your challenges. We explore team interactions and roles within your teams. We learn about your team members’ motivation to change, their desire for growth and their passion to make real and greater contributions. We listen to what you want. We assess your needs. 

We know that programs that have worked for one organization and one situation won’t work for every group and every situation. Every program we design and facilitate is as unique as the client we’re serving.

Team Goal-Setting
A Full-day session (includes establishing Full Value Contract)

In a recent study of 50 teams in thirty organizations, researchers found that the best teams have clear performance objectives. A clear mission statement, goals, objectives, and action plans help a cross-functional team stay focused and build commitment among team members. Goals also reduce conflicts among team members and the departments they represent. Goals are the basis for building partnerships with the functional departments. In this workshop participants will learn a methodology for developing a vision, mission, goals, objectives and action plans.

Specifically, you will learn how to:

Assess your current goal-setting process.

Create a vision of your future.

Prepare a team mission statement.

Develop long-term goals.

Write specific, measurable objectives.

Prepare action plans to implement the objectives.

Teamwork is not a solo sport: Building an effective team
A full-day session (includes FVC)

Research on team performance indicates that listening is the communication skill that is most needed and least well developed among team members. People typically receive training in reading, writing and speaking but rarely in listening. And yet, many of the key characteristics of effective teams include such areas as openness to new ideas, trust, consensus building, conflict resolution and a willingness to change--all of which require high-level listening skills. In this program, the participants will assess their current listening skills, explore active listening techniques and then participate in a serious of progressing more challenging listening practice exercises.

Specifically you will:

Assess your current listening style and strengths.

Review a series of effective and ineffective listening techniques.

Participate in a demonstration of communication methods.

Learn specific active listening tools.

Participate in successively more challenging listening exercises.

Prepare a plan for increasing personal listening skills.

Be prepared to move, to participate and to actively engage in personal and professional change!

Dream * Believe * Achieve! provides your students with important information on how to survive that first college year and use the entire college experience to drive themselves toward living their dreams and achieving their goals.

This interactive, assembly-style presentation helps students recognize choices they can make at several important “stops” along the college journey to make the most of their future opportunities.

We help students focus on choosing the right career path, choosing the right college major, and increasing their effectiveness in all aspects of life. Our experiential presentations help teens and young adults reach Beyond the Impossible and DREAM * BELIEVE * ACHIEVE!
